Autocorrect doesn't work.
(I'm on iOS)
Hi Larry - right now WRIO solely uses your user dictionary, which grows over time with words you typed before (more than once). So if it's the first time you write "work" it can't correct it if you mistype it. In coming updates, we will enhance it by adding basic words and improve the algorithm as well. Best, David
Thanks for the reply! I've noticed it correcting spelling errors a couple of times since submitting this post.
Im still having thls issue even after i have used the word a few times since your update ie love - luve no correction option
Hi Stephen - that is correct. Right now there is no correction option. WRIO looks whether you have slightly hit a wrong key, and therefore written a word that doesn't exist, e.g. instead of "love" "lobe" or "lpve". Then it will change it to love automatically. We agree that although this works well when the dictionary is built up correctly there are two things:
- Include basic word list from the beginning, so you can see the benefits from day one
- More visual feedback on what's going on
We're working on these things to improve it.
Hi david thanks for your reply
Still not working for me i typed lpve instead of love and still no correction same with lobe sure hope we get more words listed soon im looking to put this key board on an andriod i have just sent for but may just hold back when we type fast bigger chance to make a mistake so this is a must have feature your tem is doing a grand job
Hi Stephen - yes we totally agree that it has to work well. Maybe give it a few days and observe how it's working out? We'll continuously improve it over the coming weeks and months! Best, David
Hi guys, V1.2 on iOS tremendously improves the suggestions. On Android the update is coming soon. We will then further improve it by providing a bar to select the corrections from. Cheers & thanks for sticking with us, David
